September 9th, 1973, Lincoln, NE. In Tom Osborne's first game as head coach, Nebraska explodes against the Bruins in Lincoln. Steve Runty subs for an injured Dave Humm and guides the Huskers to an impressive blowout. Randy Borg returns a punt 77 yards for a score, Tony Davis punches out 147 yards on 24 carries, and giant John Dutton tortures UCLA quarterback and future TV star Mark Harmon, who had done some pre-game talking, all day long. October 13th, 1973, Columbia, MO. Coach Osborne suffers his first taste of defeat as 4-0 and 2nd ranked NU falls to rival and undefeated 12th rated Mizzou in a hard fought battle, 12-13. NU amasses an incredible 444 yards of offense to MUs paultry 170, but turnovers and missed opportunities result in a 2 point try for the win in the last minute for NU. The pass goes awry and MU holds on for the win. B&W and color footage with Bremsers radio play by play. DVD video, 117 minutes.

11-1-75, Columbia, MO. A rare easy 30-7 win in the long series of knock-down-drag-out contests between NU and MU in Columbia. 3rd ranked Huskers use the Bummeroosky fake punt to score en route to a blowout over 12th ranked Tigers. O'Leary, Monte Anthony, and Tony Davis combine for 184 rushing yards and Ferragamo connects for 3 TD passes. Thanksgiving, 1978, Lincoln, NE. Billy Sims and Sooners fumble away their magic in coach Osborne's first win over OU! I-Back Rick Berns and defensive back Jim Pillen shine in 17-14 upset.
