9/1/01 Lincoln. 42-14 win. Blackshirts sparkle again, holding the Trojans to -25 yards rushing. Blackshirts also had 8 sacks. Dahrran Diedrick breaks loose in his first start with 177 yards rushing. DVD, 90 minutes.

9/8/01 Lincoln. Junior I-back Dahrran Diedrick collects his 2nd straight 100-yard rushing game and the Nebraska football defense forces 4 Irish turnovers, as No. 4 Nebraska defeats No. 17 Notre Dame, 27-10. NU explodes out of the gate, scoring all 27 in the first half. The Blackshirts are led by senior Jamie Burrows 11 tackles, holding the domers' to just 162 yards. DVD, 90 minutes.

9/20/01 Lincoln. Originally scheduled for 9/15, Rice is postponed because of the terrorist attacks that shut down all major sports. After an emotional pregame ceremony, Crouch amasses 262 yards, throws 3 TD's and runs for 2 more in a 48-3 win. 3 minutes of footage of ceremony related to 9/11. DVD, 95 minutes.

9/29/01 Columbia, MO. 36-3 win with a Heisman moment. Leading 16-3 in the 3rd, the Nebraska Cornhuskers are backed up near the goal line when Crouch fades to pass, spins away from a tackler, decks two defenders at the 20 and then wins a race to the end zone. The 95 yarder is the longest in school history, bettering Roger Craig's record of 94 yards vs. FSU in '81. Crouch finishes with a Nebraska quarterback-record 191 yards on 17 carries, eclipsing Gdowski's mark of 174 yards vs. ISU in '89....

10/6/01 Lincoln. 48-14 breeze. Cornerback Keyou Craver sets the pace as he intercepts a Seneca Wallace pass for a 57 yard TD on the opening drive. Cornhuskers score on 6 of 7 possessions to lead 41-0 at half. Crouch runs for 104 yards and 4 TD's to set an NCAA record for career TD's by a QB (51). DVD, 90 minutes.

10/13/01 Waco, TX. 48-7 victory. Thunder Collins, Crouch, Diedrick, and Judd Davies all top the century mark as the Nebraska football team uses 641 yards rushing to overcome 5 turnovers in sloppy conditions. The Blackshirts continue to play lights out. Crouch's 3 TD's send him past Frazier, Baylor's running backs coach, for most TD's in NU history with 80. DVD, 90 minutes.

10/20/01 Lincoln. Husker football survives a homecoming scare to win 41-31. TT establishes momentum early with a punt return TD. The Blackshirts play grass basketball all night, defending Kingsley's 63 passes. Crouch surpasses 300 total yards and becomes the 4th QB all-time to rush for 3,000 and pass for 3,000 in a career! 10/27/01 Lincoln. The days of old return to Memorial Stadium as #1 OU visits the #2 Nebraska Cornhuskers for BCS and Big XII braggin' rights. True to the past, it's a head-knocking defensive slug-fest, decided by big plays. OU's trick play fails, and a reverse pass to QB Eric Crouch works out to a 65 yard Heisman TD. Jammie Burrow and friends stuff OU all day. Josh Brown goes 2 for 2. 20-10 good guys! DVD, 90 minutes.

11/3/01 Lawrence, KS. The #1 Cornhuskers (BCS) cruise to 10 & 0 in '01 with a 51-7 rout. Diedrick grinds for 136 yards and 2 TD's. Crouch completes 14-of-24 for 164 yards and runs for 49. Ben Cornelson adds excitement with a 71 yard punt return for a TD. Chris Kelsay leads the D, spending most of his time in the KU backfield. DVD, 90 minutes.
