November 3, 2012 - East Lansing, MI. The Huskers make their first trip to East Lansing since 1995 for a Legends Division showdown with the Spartans. The Huskers stumble early with turnovers but score twice in the first half including a 71-yard sprint to the end-zone by quarterback Taylor Martinez. With the game tied at the beginning of the 3rd quarter, the Spartans outscore the Huskers 3-0 in the 3rd quarter and jump out to a 10-point lead early in the 4th quarter on a L'Veon Bell 1-yard plunge into the end-zone. Martinez again leads the Huskers back from a double-digit, 4th quarter deficit with a 35-yard touchdown scamper and a beautiful touch pass to Jamal Turner in the end-zone with 6 seconds remaining in the game. With 365 yards of total offense on the day, Martinez eclipses Eric Crouch's all-time record for total offense by a Husker. Filling in for Rex Burkhead, Ameer Abdullah has his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the season finishing with 110 yards on the ground. The Huskers move to 7-0 all-time against the Spartans and 7-2 on the season in the driver's seat of the Legends Division. Includes video footage of entire game as filmed by Husker Vision.
