December 1, 2012 - Indianapolis, IN. After winning 6 straight to finish the regular season and claim the Legends Division title, the Huskers were looking for their first conference championship since 1999 in a rematch against Wisconsin. NU stumbled early with turnovers and never really got on track against a much-improved Badgers attack. The Huskers put up 10 first quarter points including a brilliant 76-yard scramble by quarterback Taylor Martinez but were held scoreless in the second quarter. Wisconsin took a 42-10 lead into halftime and never looked back. Martinez had his fifth 100-yard rushing game of the year and notable performances were turned in by freshman running back Imani Cross and sophomore wideout Jamal Turner. The Badgers offense overpowered the Blackshirts for 4 quarters of play as Wisconsin goes to its third straight Rose Bowl with a final score of 70-31. Includes video footage of entire game as filmed by Husker Vision. Husker radio play-by-play for audio. DVD video. 110 minutes.
